Our Story

Bringing the Stage to Life in Central Mississippi

Founded in 2020, Pearl Community Theatre was born out of a shared passion to enrich our local culture and create an accessible home for the performing arts in Central Mississippi. What started as a vision to bring quality live storytelling to our community has grown into a vibrant creative home for actors, technicians, students, and theater lovers of all ages.

Led by a dedicated Board of Directors, our theatre is rooted in artistic excellence, community mentorship, and a lifelong love of the stage.

Each season, Pearl Community Theatre brings a dynamic slate of live programming to our stage, including a musical, compelling plays, a children’s production, and our annual Kids Summer Theatre Camp. We believe the arts have the power to build confidence, empathy, and connection—both under the stage lights and in the audience.

Pearl Community Theatre is an official Mississippi 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity, supported in part through a valued partnership with the City of Pearl, as well as the generous support of our patrons, volunteers, and local sponsors.

Whether you are stepping into the spotlight, building sets backstage, or enjoying the show from the house, there is a place for you here.
